It’s tucked away in this quiet residential area where you actually hear birds in the morning instead of traffic, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that feels like real Vilnius rather than tourist-land.

The apartment itself really lives up to that “cozy” promise – I mean, the moment you walk in, it’s got this lived-in warmth that most hotels just can’t fake. The workspace setup is actually legit too, not just some tiny desk shoved in a corner like you usually get. I ended up spending way more time working from there than I planned because the lighting was perfect and honestly, the neighborhood is so peaceful during the day. What really impressed me though was how thoughtfully they’d set things up for pets. My friend brought her rescue dog when she visited, and there were already water bowls set out, plus they’d left this little welcome treat – small touches, but they show someone actually gets what pet owners need. The kitchen has everything you’d want if you’re staying more than a night or two, and there’s this great little grocery store just a few minutes’ walk down the street where the owner remembered my coffee order by day three.

Here’s the thing about staying in Verkiai – you’re maybe fifteen minutes from Old Town by car, but it feels like you’re in a completely different world. The park nearby (which is probably why they named it Ozo Park Apartment) is genuinely lovely for morning walks, especially if you’ve got a dog in tow. I loved how quiet it got in the evenings; you could actually open the windows and just hear… well, not much of anything, which was perfect after long days exploring the city. The only minor thing I’d mention is that you’ll definitely want a car or be comfortable with rideshares if you’re planning to hit the main tourist spots frequently – it’s not a walkable distance to the cathedral or Užupis or anything like that. But honestly, that isolation is part of what made it feel special. Check-in was super smooth too – the owner met me right on time and gave me all these insider tips about the neighborhood that I never would have found in any guidebook. It’s rare to find a place that actually earns a perfect 10 rating, but after staying here, I totally get why this one does.

  The apartment was clean and well equipped. i was traveling alone but it is specious enough for two people.
  the location seems to be far from the city center but its actually not: many buses run ever few minutes and it took me around 15-20 min to the center.
  the host was friendly and provided me all the information i needed early on, so i had no trouble finding the place.
