Cozy Naugarduko Apartments Close to Vilnius Old Town Overview

You know what struck me first about Cozy Naugarduko Apartments Close to Vilnius Old Town? The name actually undersells it. I mean, yes, it’s cozy and yes, it’s close to Old Town, but there’s something unexpectedly charming about this little 3-star setup on Naugarduko street that caught me off guard. The building itself has that solid Soviet-era feel – thick walls that actually keep the noise out (trust me, this matters when you’re trying to sleep after exploring the cobblestones all day) – but the apartments inside have been updated with a warm, lived-in vibe that feels more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel.

The location honestly couldn’t be better if you’re the type who likes to walk everywhere. Naugarduko street runs parallel to the old medieval walls, so you’re literally a 10-minute stroll from Cathedral Square, but here’s the thing locals know – you’re also right in Naujamiestis, which means you get the best of both worlds. There’s this great little bakery just down the street where I grabbed coffee every morning (the barista there makes these incredible šakotis pastries), and if you walk five minutes toward Gedimino Avenue, you hit all the shops and restaurants without dealing with the tourist crowds around Town Hall Square. The 8.2 rating makes perfect sense once you settle in – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works exactly as it should. The apartments are genuinely spacious (I could actually unpack my entire suitcase, imagine that), the kitchenette is properly equipped if you want to grab groceries from the Maxima down the block, and honestly, the beds are surprisingly comfortable for this price range.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re in the heart of the city. Those thick walls I mentioned earlier? They do their job. You can hear the occasional tram on Gedimino – but it’s more of a gentle urban lullaby than anything disruptive. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too, no pretentious lobby theatrics or upselling attempts. The staff actually gave me useful local tips, like which entrance to use for the fastest route to the old town (hint: cut through the small park near the Orthodox church) and where to find parking if you’re driving (spoiler: don’t drive in Vilnius if you can help it, but if you must, there’s a decent lot about three blocks away). I’d definitely stay here again – it’s got that sweet spot of being practical, comfortable, and genuinely well-located without trying too hard to impress anyone. Sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re more interested in exploring the city than hanging around your accommodation.

Vilnius’s apartments offer spacious accommodations with historic charm, perfect for families wanting to experience daily life in this culturally rich Lithuanian capital.

Reviews of Cozy Naugarduko Apartments Close to Vilnius Old Town

  • Very good! – Alina from Latvia – August 20, 2025 (9/10)

Very close to Old town. Nice area to stay, stylish breakfast place nearby. The apartment is clean and cosy. There is everything needed inside (kitchen, iron, TV).

What could be improved: Parking in the streets is quite expensive. We were lucky to find a parking place for the night inside the living area (courtyard) near the playground. But it usually is full with resident cars.

  • Small and funcional – Agne from Lithuania – September 30, 2024 (9/10)

The bed was very comfortable, the location very convenient. There is a space to work, so it was smartly planned the space.

What could be improved: The shower is weird. Curtain does not go to the bottom water gets everywhere. Couch is quite small and a bit flimsy. The flat is very small, but we were a couple and stayed 4 days and it was good enough.

  • Wonderful – Maxim from Latvia – May 19, 2024 (9/10)

Absolutely seamless check-in and check-out. It was also equipped with everything which can be needed for short-term rent or travel: microwave, stove, oven, fridge, hairdryer, washing machine, TV with option to connect to computer. The location is perfect: right next to the old town, close to supermarkets. Overall, it is very neat, clean, modern — I definitely recommend this option for such a price.

I'm staying here for the second time.

What could be improved: Maybe the faucet in the kitchen can be cleaned or changed it was a little bit rusty.

  • Nice location and cozy inside – Valerie from United States – January 24, 2024 (8/10)

Great location, stocked with plenty of kitchen items and very comfortable bed.

What could be improved: Shower wasn't too clean and the curtain should be washed or replaced as it was covered in mold.

  • Very Good – Mariia from Lithuania – January 10, 2024 (8/10)

What could be improved: Floor in a bathroom gets really wet for a long time after shower and there is nothing you can do it prevent it 🙁

  • I would definitely recommend this appartement – Nataliya from Ukraine – May 13, 2023 (9/10)

It was a very comfortable stay, all necessary equipment, dishes, household appliances were provided, as well as towels and cosmetics
The location is very convenient, in the Old town and next to the bus stops and Vilnius bus station

What could be improved: it was extremely cold and there were no options to warm up except to go outside

  • Good – Stefan from United Kingdom – August 19, 2025 (7/10)

The location was very good: just round the corner from a large 24-hour supermarket, free parking at the rear, a short walk to the Choral Synagogue, and a short but fun scooter ride to the Old Town and city centre.
The flat is comfortable for three but ideal for two. It's quiet and secure.
The customer service was great – immediately accessible and helpful.

What could be improved: There was nowhere to put our accumulating rubbish (only one small bin in the kitchen area). And only one laundry soap tablet (two would've been good). There was no broom to sweep the floor, only a dust pan and brush; the fan in the bathroom doesn't work.

  • Good stop-over in Vilnius – Gilles from Canada – June 24, 2025 (9/10)

Good size, modern, clean apartment in otherwise ugly exterior building. Convenient/central location. Nearby very large grocery store (Maxima XXX). Reasonably well equipped kitchen. Clothes drying rack was appreciated.

What could be improved: Counter bar stools were inadequately high and not comfortable to use. Need a normal small kitchen table and chairs. Toaster did not work. Would have better appreciated a pod coffee machine rather than a drip coffee machine. Toilet paper supplies not replenished.

  • Nice apartment for solo or couples but not family with kids – Anushree from Sweden – March 17, 2025 (7/10)

The apartment is quite nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The washing machine was useful.

What could be improved: I would not recommend it for families with little kids or strollers. It is a second floor walk up with horrible.looking entrance. Also while the downtown is walkable distance the hilly terrain made it hard to walk after the end of a busy day. Also the room was really warm but we could not open the windows as the road outside brings noise. Maybe it would be good to add some bowls and colander in the kitchen.

  • Great spot! – Mischa from United States – February 25, 2024 (9/10)

Fantastic host. Great communication. Very easy to find.

    What could be improved: N/A
