The Wi-Fi works properly (miracle in old buildings like this), and they’ve managed to fit a proper kitchen without it feeling cramped.

What really sets it apart though is the location knowledge you get just by staying here. The host clearly knows the neighborhood – they’ll point you toward the tiny bakery tucked behind the main square that locals hit up around 7 AM, or mention which evening hours the main streets quiet down so you can actually hear yourself think. Parking can be a bit of an adventure (welcome to historic European city centers), but there’s a small lot about a three-minute walk away that’s way cheaper than the tourist traps. The building itself has character – you’ll hear some creaking and settling, especially at night, but it adds to the charm rather than keeping you awake. I actually found it kind of comforting, like the place has stories to tell. For a three-star spot, it punches well above its weight class because it gives you that authentic neighborhood experience without sacrificing the practical stuff that makes a trip actually enjoyable.

  Nice room in centre of old Vilnius. Close to everything but quiet as tucked away in a courtyard. The host was funny and friendly and very obliging.

  Great location, cozy apartment, has all that you might need during a couple days stay.
  The owner is very friendly and helpful, he waited for us at check-in and was very flexible with checkout time too.
  Nowadays other stays have a box to store with a key and it is very convenient to get those keys, was quite strange to get in person, but we got advice along with the keys, e.g. what food to try and in which restaurant and to be honest it was totally worth listening to the advice, we had a fantastic meal at that restaurant.
  With a key box there is huge flexibility, but to be honest i would not exchange that with the kindness of the owner of this apartment.
  He even asked us on the second day if all was ok and if we needed anything. An experience that you don’t get at other places anymore.

  We arrived late in the night and the owner waited for us to welcome us and check us in. He explained for us the main sights of the city and gave us booklets and maps to plan our trip. The apartment was very clean and cozy. The location in the old town is a huge plus. Within minutes of walking you can visit the main sights in the old town. We can recommend this place if you're planning to visit Vilnius.
