Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places around Vilnius over the years, but Cozy Apartment at the Heart of Vilnius really gets it right – and that 9.4 rating isn’t just inflated nonsense, it’s actually earned. You know when you walk into a place and immediately think “okay, someone who travels a lot set this up”? That’s exactly what happened here.

The location on Trakų street is honestly perfect if you want to feel like you’re living in Old Town rather than just passing through. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from Cathedral Square, but here’s the thing – you’re tucked away enough that you won’t hear drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM (trust me, that matters). The building itself has that classic Vilnius charm – those thick walls that keep everything quiet and surprisingly cool even in summer. When I first walked up to apartment 6-20a, I was a bit skeptical because the entrance looks pretty standard, but once you’re inside… well, it’s clear someone put actual thought into making travelers comfortable.

What really impressed me was how they nailed the little details that most places completely miss. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the IKI down the street and cook something real instead of eating out every meal. The shower pressure is solid – and honestly, after staying in some Old Town places where you basically get misted by sad water, this felt luxurious. The wifi works everywhere in the apartment, not just in one corner like so many places. And here’s something I really appreciated: they’ve got proper curtains that actually block out light, because summer in Lithuania means it’s bright until like 10 PM and you might want to sleep in without feeling like you’re camping.

The whole setup feels more like borrowing a local friend’s apartment than staying in some sterile hotel room. There’s a decent-sized table where you can spread out maps or actually work if you need to, comfortable seating that doesn’t feel like it came from the cheapest furniture store, and enough space that you’re not constantly bumping into your travel companion. Walking to pretty much anywhere you’d want to go in Old Town takes maybe five to ten minutes max – Gediminas Tower, the university area, all those little restaurants tucked away on Pilies street. You’re also close enough to Užupis that you can easily wander over there for the afternoon without planning some major expedition.

I’ll be honest, it’s not fancy – this is a 3-star place and it feels like one, but in the best possible way. No one’s trying to impress you with marble floors or a lobby that looks like a museum. Instead, you get a genuinely comfortable space in an unbeatable location with owners who clearly understand what travelers actually need. For the price point and that location right in the heart of everything, it’s kind of a no-brainer if you want to experience Vilnius properly rather than just checking tourist boxes from some hotel on the outskirts.

  Удобное расположение, бесплатная парковка во дворе. Очень просторная квартира, где наша компания из 6 человек чуствовала себя очень комфортно. Есть всё необходимое для приготовления еды (посуда, приправы, масло, чай). И даже лёд в морозилке (нас он очень порадовал в жаркий летний день). Спасибо хозяевам за возможность приятного пребывания в Вильнюсе! Наши самые лучшие рекомендации!

  Lokalizacja rewelacyjna – wszędzie blisko. Apartament ma swój styl, niestety niedoskonałości psują klimat miejsca.
  Apartament dwupoziomowy, z dwiema łazienkami, wyposażoną kuchnią. Wygodne łóżko, mniej sofa w sypialni. Duży plus dla właścicieli za odpowiednią ilość pościeli do liczby gości (5 osób – 5 poduszek i kołder), rewelacja. Milutka duża kołdra🙂. Czyste ręczniki, dla każdego gościa komplet. Suszarka na ubrania. Balkon. Bezproblemowy dostęp do kluczy. Bezpłatny parking w podwórzu, zamykana brama.
  
  What could be improved: Zapachy z mieszkania sąsiadów. Nie z winy gospodarza.
