I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Cozy apartment Akropolis on Gelvonų gatvė, I wasn’t expecting much from the Seskine neighborhood. It’s one of those residential areas that doesn’t make it onto tourist maps, you know? But that’s actually what ended up being its biggest charm. You’re staying where real Vilnius locals live, not in some touristy bubble downtown.

The apartment itself really does live up to that “cozy” name – I mean, it’s got that lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your shoes and settle in for the evening. The owner clearly put thought into the little details that matter when you’re traveling. There’s proper blackout curtains (thank god, because those Lithuanian summer nights barely get dark), decent Wi-Fi that actually works for video calls, and – this might sound silly but it matters – good water pressure in the shower. The kitchen’s well-stocked too, which came in handy since there’s a Maxima grocery store just a short walk away on Ukmergės gatvė where you can grab everything from local bread to those Lithuanian honey cookies that’ll ruin your diet.

What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night, especially compared to the Old Town where you’ve got drunk tourists stumbling around until 3 AM. Here in Seskine, you’ll hear birds in the morning instead of delivery trucks. The bus connections are actually pretty solid too – the 53 line gets you to the center in about 20 minutes, and honestly, after a day of walking around cobblestones and dodging tour groups, coming back to this peaceful corner felt like a small luxury. The 9.5 rating isn’t just inflated reviews either – you can tell the host really cares about the place. Check-in was smooth (they actually showed up exactly when they said they would), and when I had a question about the heating, they responded within an hour with clear instructions. It’s the kind of stay that makes you feel like you’ve discovered something the guidebooks missed, which in Vilnius – a city that’s still figuring out its tourism identity – feels pretty special.

  Very comfortable, clean and everything is new. And very spacious. It has kitchen and utensils too. Very convenient and budget-friendly for both short and long stays. The host is very nice. The compound is tranquil. Sleep was peaceful.
  
  What could be improved: Location. It’s a little far from the metropolitan area and the old town. But they have a supermarket nearby. So, you don’t need to worry about food and everything.

  Everything was Perfect! Very clean, spacious, bright and fully equiped apartment, quite and peacefull neighbourhood! There is a direct bus to the city centre, grocery shop around the corner and Akropolis shopping mall is very close.

  The Host was very welcoming and nice. The apartment was clean and cozy with all the facilities. You find everything near shop etc close to apartment.

  Apartment is new renovated and well equiped. Location is quiet calm and not soo far from city center. Easy to reach with public transport. Landlord was very friendly and helpfull.

  It was cozy as depicted. Easy to reach from the town and old town. Shops not far, transport very adequate and the surrounding was quiet and peaceful which gives one tranquility. The Host was very helpful in all aspects. Apartment was safe.

  The appartment has recently got renovated; All was clean & tidy. We bought our own food ; The kitchen had all the necessary equipment & utensils to cook for ourselves; The location is excellent. Although the house is not located in the very center of the city, but in a quiet apartment area, it is 5 & 8 min. walk to small supermarkets, 2 bus stops to a huge shopping & entertainment centre, and 20 min. by public transport to the heart of Vilnius.
  
  What could be improved: The TV was not set up; The central heating was turned off ( as it was May month), and we're not very lucky with the May weather. But the owner kindly has offered to bring us a heather if we would have needed it.
