Cosy Central Apartments by Reside Baltic Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw Cosy Central Apartments by Reside Baltic tucked away on Placioji street, I almost walked right past it. The entrance is pretty understated, which actually turned out to be a good thing because you’re not dealing with tour groups clogging up the lobby at 7 AM.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling like you’re staying in someone’s actual apartment (in the best way) and having everything you need as a traveler. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show – I mean, you can actually cook a proper meal, which is clutch when you’re tired of restaurant food after a few days. And honestly, being right in the Old Town means you’re maybe a two-minute walk from those little grocery stores where locals shop, so you can grab fresh bread and local cheese without trekking to some massive supermarket.

The location thing is where this place really shines, but not in that generic “convenient location” way everyone talks about. You know how some hotels claim to be central but you still end up walking 15 minutes to anything interesting? Not here. I could literally hear the bells from St. Anne’s Church in the morning – not loud enough to wake you up, just enough to remind you where you are. The cobblestone streets can be a bit noisy when delivery trucks come through around 6 AM, but that’s just Old Town life. You’re also close enough to Pilies street that you can stumble back after dinner without needing a taxi, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the weekend crowds right outside your window. The apartments themselves feel more grown-up than your typical budget stay – sure, it’s a 3-star place, but the furnishings don’t scream “student housing” like some serviced apartments do. I particularly liked that the beds were actually comfortable (you know how that goes with apartment rentals) and the wifi worked properly throughout the space, even in the bathroom if that’s your thing.

One thing I wasn’t expecting was how quiet it gets at night, considering you’re basically in the heart of everything. The building has thick walls, and since it’s on a smaller street rather than one of the main drags, you don’t get the constant foot traffic. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward “meet us at this random location three blocks away” situation you sometimes get with apartment rentals. The staff actually seemed to know what they were doing, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how often that’s not the case.

I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning to spend more than just a quick weekend in Vilnius. It’s got that rare combination of being properly located without feeling touristy, and practical without being sterile. Plus, at an 8.5 rating, it’s clearly working for other people too – and honestly, that tracks with my experience.

Reviews of Cosy Central Apartments by Reside Baltic

  • Book something else, poor value for money. – Matīss from Latvia – July 16, 2025 (3/10)

    1. Really disappointing quality of the property.
    2. Very poorly cleaned.

Completely negligence of the properly, it’s clear that it’s owned by a management company that tries to earn as much as possible with no care at all.

What could be improved: Location is good, the only good thing about this stay.

  • Très bien – Jessica from France – July 26, 2025 (7/10)

  • Wonderful – Antoniofm from Spain – July 19, 2025 (9/10)

El silencio, la ubicación y el confort

What could be improved: Demasiada luz natural en el dormitorio para dormir, faltan unas cortinas oscuras.

  • Puikus 🤩 – Kristina from Lithuania – June 9, 2025 (9/10)

Labai gera lokacija. Jaukus ir šiuolaikiškai įrengtas apartamentas. Viskas ko reikia trumpai ar net ilgesnei viešnagei.

What could be improved: Vienintelis minusas tai kad išsiregistravimas 11 val, paprašius valanda vėliau būtų reikėję sumokėti papildomai 20 eurų už vieną valandą.

Miki from Japan – July 22, 2025 (7/10)

    What could be improved:
