The kitchen actually has proper coffee – not those terrible instant packets – and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase.

What really sold me on this place, though, is how genuinely well-located it is. I know, I know – every place claims great location, but hear me out. You’re about a three-minute walk from Pilies Street where all the tourist action happens, but Vanagėlio itself is quiet enough that you can actually sleep at night. I spent most evenings just wandering around – there’s this little courtyard nearby where locals hang out, and you’re close enough to Užupis (that quirky artist district) that you can easily walk over for dinner. The 9.4 rating makes sense once you’ve been there; it’s one of those places that just works without any drama. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi didn’t cut out every five minutes, and honestly, the whole experience felt effortless in a way that’s pretty rare for boutique places. Sure, it doesn’t have a concierge or room service – it’s more of an upscale apartment rental than a traditional hotel – but that’s actually part of the appeal. You get to feel like you’re living in Old Town for a few days rather than just passing through it.

  – The apartment is strategically located between 10 min walk from the Old City and 7-10 min walk from the 2 and 88 bus line stops from/to the airport (including night 88N bus).
  – Everything's work, nothing is broke in the apartment.
  – (Weird point, but) the apartment has a bedroom actually separated (with a door) from a living room. Strangely many apartments in Vilnius declare themselves as "one bedroom", but actually are a studio.
  – Kitchen equipment is far better than one can expect from the place in this price category.
  – The bed is very comfortable on our taste.
