cohost I New Bastėja Life Apartments w-Garage Prkg & Self Check-in Overview
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name cohost I New Bastėja Life Apartments w-Garage Prkg & Self Check-in, I thought it sounded like someone had fed a hotel name generator too much coffee. But you know what? Sometimes the places with the clunkiest names turn out to be hidden gems, and that’s exactly what happened here.
I mean, the location alone is pretty spectacular – you’re literally on Šv. Dvasios street in Vilnius Old Town, which puts you right in the thick of things without the tourist trap chaos. I actually walked past this building twice before realizing it was my hotel because it blends so seamlessly with the historic architecture around it. The self check-in thing worried me at first (I’m one of those people who likes talking to actual humans when things go wrong), but honestly, it worked flawlessly. Got my codes via text, punched them in, and boom – I was inside what felt like a proper Lithuanian apartment rather than some sterile hotel room.
The garage parking is a godsend if you’re driving – and I cannot stress this enough, because finding parking in Vilnius Old Town is like trying to solve a Rubik’s cube blindfolded. The apartment itself has this wonderful lived-in quality that makes you feel like you’re staying at a well-traveled friend’s place rather than some corporate chain. The windows face the street, so you get these lovely morning sounds of the city waking up (though light sleepers might want to pack earplugs – cobblestone streets amplify every footstep and rolling suitcase). What really got me was how they’d thought of the little things – proper coffee setup, enough outlets where you actually need them, and towels that don’t feel like sandpaper.
Walking to Cathedral Square takes maybe eight minutes if you dawdle and stop to look at everything, which I definitely recommend doing. The narrow streets around here are packed with these tiny cafés that locals actually use, not just tourist spots with laminated menus in six languages. I stumbled into this bakery called Duona practically around the corner that does these incredible rye pastries – the kind of place you’d never find if you were staying out by the airport. The 9.7 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there, though I suspect it’s because this place attracts travelers who actually want to experience Vilnius rather than just tick it off a list. It’s got that sweet spot combination of modern comfort and authentic location that’s surprisingly hard to find these days.

Repeat stay – Mona from United States – June 30, 2025 (10/10)
Great location, all the major attractions are an easy walk away.
What could be improved: It’s a ground floor apartment which windows opening out to the courtyard/walk way. We usually keep the curtains drawn which felt a bit dark at times, but not an issue if you are out most of the day.Cosy apartment on the ground floor – Aleksei from Russia – April 14, 2025 (9/10)

Very modern apartment. I felt very comfortable staying here. Very close to all attractions in the old town.

Third time staying here. The location is excellent for both walking around old town and to the train station and airport. The apartment is well appointed with kitchen ware. The property management was very responsive and was able to accommodate request for early check-in.

Wonderful – Shah from Lithuania – July 3, 2024 (9/10)
Beautiful and convenient location, spacious and well-arranged rooms, peaceful surroundings, playground for kids, well equipped with everything you may need, the dishwasher was really useful
What could be improved: In room 36 it seems that the TV was not working (or we might have missed how to turn it on properly) and the coffee machine was leaking a bit. As we had kids, one of the neighbours from the 3rd floor shouted on the 3 year old for being too loud outside, although it was daytime (around 10-11 am)Wonderful – Jane from United Kingdom – June 27, 2024 (9/10)
