Walking to Cathedral Square takes maybe eight minutes if you dawdle and stop to look at everything, which I definitely recommend doing. I stumbled into this bakery called Duona practically around the corner that does these incredible rye pastries – the kind of place you’d never find if you were staying out by the airport. The 9.7 rating makes perfect sense once you’re there, though I suspect it’s because this place attracts travelers who actually want to experience Vilnius rather than just tick it off a list. It’s got that sweet spot combination of modern comfort and authentic location that’s surprisingly hard to find these days.

  Great location, all the major attractions are an easy walk away.
  
  What could be improved: It’s a ground floor apartment which windows opening out to the courtyard/walk way. We usually keep the curtains drawn which felt a bit dark at times, but not an issue if you are out most of the day.

  Third time staying here. The location is excellent for both walking around old town and to the train station and airport. The apartment is well appointed with kitchen ware. The property management was very responsive and was able to accommodate request for early check-in.

  Beautiful and convenient location, spacious and well-arranged rooms, peaceful surroundings, playground for kids, well equipped with everything you may need, the dishwasher was really useful
  
  What could be improved: In room 36 it seems that the TV was not working (or we might have missed how to turn it on properly) and the coffee machine was leaking a bit. As we had kids, one of the neighbours from the 3rd floor shouted on the 3 year old for being too loud outside, although it was daytime (around 10-11 am)
