The location is what really got me. You’re literally steps from Cathedral Square – I mean, you can practically hear the bells from St. Stanislaus Cathedral in the morning, which is either charming or slightly annoying depending on how late you stayed out on Pilies Street the night before. What I loved though is that you’re right in the thick of Old Town’s cobblestone maze, but Sodų gatvė itself is actually pretty quiet. It’s one of those side streets that feels residential even though you’re surrounded by tourists and amber shops. The parking situation (which, let’s be real, is why half of us would pick this place) is genuinely helpful – anyone who’s tried to navigate a rental car through Vilnius’s medieval streets knows what a lifesaver that is.

The studio itself has this sort of minimalist thing going on that actually works. I mean, it’s small – don’t expect to spread out all your stuff – but everything feels thoughtfully placed. The kitchen area is compact but functional, which came in handy since there’s a Maxima just a few blocks away on Gedimino Avenue. You know what I really appreciated? The windows are properly thick, so even though you’re in the city center, it stays surprisingly quiet at night. I stayed there during late spring when all the café terraces were buzzing, but I slept fine. The whole place feels clean and well-maintained in that understated way – nothing fancy, but you can tell someone actually cares about the details. Check-in was smooth too, none of that awkward hunting-for-keys situation you sometimes get with smaller properties. Actually, the host was pretty helpful with restaurant recommendations, pointed me toward this little Georgian place on Stiklių that I never would have found otherwise. It’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’re staying somewhere real rather than just passing through a hotel bubble, if that makes sense.
