This little studio apartment sits right in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage area, and I mean literally – step outside and you’re already breathing in centuries of cobblestone history.

The thing about staying on Sodų gatvė is that you’re close enough to hear the gentle hum of Old Town life without getting the full blast of tourist chaos that hits Pilies street. I actually loved waking up to the sound of early morning footsteps on cobblestones rather than car engines – it’s surprisingly soothing once you get used to it. The studio itself feels more like borrowing a local friend’s place than staying in a typical hotel room. Sure, it’s compact (hence the “studio” part), but everything you need is there, and honestly, when Vilnius Cathedral is a five-minute walk away, how much time are you really spending indoors anyway?

What really won me over was discovering just how perfectly positioned this place is for actually experiencing Vilnius like a person who lives here. The morning bakery run to Uzupis – that quirky artist republic across the river – becomes this lovely 15-minute stroll through winding medieval streets. And here’s something I didn’t expect: the evening walk back from dinner in the main square never felt touristy or rushed because you’re staying in a real residential building where actual Vilnius residents live their daily lives. There’s something grounding about that. The 8.7 rating makes total sense once you realize this isn’t trying to be a fancy hotel experience – it’s offering something better, which is an authentic way to live in one of Europe’s most underrated old cities. I mean, parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (Old Town streets weren’t exactly designed for cars), but that’s true anywhere in this part of the city. What matters is that you’ll fall asleep each night knowing you’re not just visiting Vilnius – you’re actually staying in it.

  Sehr gute Beschreibung der Unterkunft bzw den Weg zur Unterkunft
  Für Kurztrip sehr gut gelegen zum Bahnhof
  Ausstattung sehr gut- war alles da was man braucht
  Man fühlte sich sehr sicher, weil man nur mit einem Code in die Appartementanlage bzw Haus kam.
  Wir können das Appartement für einen Kurztripp weiterempfehlen.
