Here’s the thing about the location that most people don’t realize until they’re there – you’re technically in Šnipiškės, which sounds far from everything, but it’s actually this perfect sweet spot. You can walk to the old town in about fifteen minutes (honestly, it’s a lovely walk along the river), but you’re also close to the business district and some genuinely good local restaurants that tourists never find. The nearby streets get quiet at night, which I appreciated after dealing with some pretty rowdy places in other cities. Parking was straightforward too – no circling blocks looking for a spot or dealing with impossible tiny garage entrances. The whole check-in process was refreshingly simple, none of that “we need fourteen forms of ID” drama. Actually, the staff seemed to know the neighborhood really well and gave me some solid recommendations for places to grab coffee and where to find the best cepelinai (those potato dumplings that are basically mandatory when you’re in Lithuania). The building itself stays pretty quiet – thick walls, I guess – so you’re not hearing every conversation from the hallway. What impressed me most was how everything just worked without fuss. Hot water, decent heating, clean linens that didn’t smell like industrial detergent. Sometimes the best compliment you can give a place is that it doesn’t get in the way of why you’re actually visiting a city.

  Overall a great stay at Vilnius, the location was perfect although you got to find the parking on your own, clean and nicely decorated, TV had cable YouTube and Netflix, nice shower and balcony, a lot of space in the closets.
  
  What could be improved: The only improwements could be little amenities that would make it more liveable and great such as a cutting board, paper towels or towel for the kitchen, oil and spices if you want to cook at home, little things like that, but otherwise it was a good stay.
