The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home rather than a sterile hotel room – there are books on the shelves (some in Lithuanian, which I found charming), real kitchen supplies if you want to cook, and the kind of comfortable couch you can actually relax on after walking around cobblestone streets all day. I mean, it’s a 3-star place so don’t expect luxury, but everything works well and feels thoughtfully put together. The Wi-Fi is solid, which matters if you’re trying to plan your next day or post photos, and the shower has proper water pressure – you’d be surprised how often that’s an issue in older European buildings. One thing to note is that the street can get a bit lively on weekend evenings since you’re close to some popular bars, but it’s not crazy loud and the windows do a decent job keeping most of the noise out.

What really makes this place work is how it connects you to the city without making you feel like a tourist trapped in a hotel bubble. You’re close enough to walk to Vilnius Cathedral and the castle in about fifteen minutes, but you’re also near that fantastic covered market (Halės turgus) where locals actually shop – I picked up some amazing Lithuanian honey there that I’m still thinking about months later. The 8.4 rating makes perfect sense to me because this isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It’s a comfortable, well-located base for exploring Vilnius that gives you a taste of what it might feel like to actually live there for a few days. Plus, the value is solid – you get way more space and personality than you would in a standard hotel room for the same price, and there’s something satisfying about making your own breakfast with ingredients from the local market instead of facing another hotel buffet.

  Well located in the XIX-XX century district where ministerial buildings and important offices are located, the studio is clean and comfortable, also with a piano! The room is wide also for 3 people, comfortable, silent (the building is in the inner court). Very close to the river and to the church of st. Philip and Jackob with ist lovely carillon.

  What could be improved: – had to deduct 1 point for the toilet – I still don't understand how it works 😂 sometimes it flushes on its own (like it has too much water in the tank and has to drop it) and then after half an hour, when I need it to flash, it won't. Then after few minutes the tank fills with water again and it flushes. However, this slight inconvenience doesn't change the fact that I would stay there again in a heartbeat
  – the sink in the bathroom could be at least 5 cm wider – would not cramp the space, but you wouldn't splash the water on the floor while trying to wash your face 😉
