I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Central Stylish Well Equiped Apartments – Self Check-in, I thought it sounded a bit corporate and clunky. But you know what? Sometimes the best places have the worst names, and this is definitely one of those cases. Located right on Ševčenkos street in Naujamiestis, this place surprised me in all the right ways.

The self check-in thing actually works brilliantly here – no awkward lobby waiting or rushing to beat reception hours. They send you codes ahead of time, and honestly, it felt more like staying at a friend’s apartment than dealing with hotel bureaucracy. The building itself has that solid Soviet-era construction (which means thick walls and barely any noise from neighbors, thank god), but the apartments inside are completely modernized. I mean, we’re talking proper kitchens with full-sized fridges, not those tiny hotel mini-bars, plus washing machines that actually work well. The 4-star rating feels about right – it’s not luxury, but everything you need is there and done properly.

What really sold me on this place is the location. Naujamiestis might not sound glamorous, but you’re basically in the sweet spot between Old Town tourist chaos and actual Vilnius life. Walk five minutes toward the river and you hit some fantastic local restaurants that most visitors never find. The Neris is right there for morning runs, and honestly, being on Ševčenkos puts you close to everything without the Old Town noise and inflated prices. Plus – and this matters if you’re driving – parking isn’t the nightmare it is closer to the cathedral. The 8.5 rating makes sense too; I’ve stayed in places with higher star ratings that felt way more impersonal. The apartments here have this lived-in quality that’s comfortable rather than sterile, though I will say the WiFi can be a bit spotty in the bedrooms (works fine in the living areas). If you’re someone who values having your own space to spread out and actually cook a meal instead of eating out every night, this beats a traditional hotel room hands down.

  We were staying here for the second time because we liked this apartment a lot. Good place in a convenient location. Separate rooms, comfortable bed. Has cutlery and other stuff needed for an amazing stay. A/C is in the living room. Good choice for 2-3 people.

  What could be improved: It’s on the fourth floor without elevator (there was no problem for us). There are few free places for parking close to apartment, but if they are full, you can park on a atreet (it cost 0,6 Eur per hour)
