Most places either charge you an arm and a leg or you’re circling for twenty minutes looking for a spot three blocks away. The parking here means you can actually use the apartment as a proper base for exploring Lithuania’s countryside too, which not everyone thinks to do but honestly shouldn’t be missed. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me because while everything works well and the location is incredible, it’s not trying to be some fancy luxury experience – it’s just really good at being exactly what it is. Perfect for couples who want to feel like temporary locals, or even families since there’s actual space to spread out. The Old Town gets pretty quiet after the day-trippers leave anyway, so you end up with this lovely peaceful evening vibe where you can hear your own footsteps on the cobblestones.

  Apartment was really nice and cozy, spacious. Location was great, everything in the old town was walking distance (at least everything we needed). Apparently apartment is administrated by a company in which apparently no one speaks Lithuanian it's neither – or a + it just might be useful for someone local that will be renting and doesn't speak any foreign languages.
  
  What could be improved: We were with a car and according to the host you need to leave car in front of the gate then go collect keys from inside the yard where is the control to open the gates. I understand the logic but entrance is in a very narrow (only one car fits) one way street, there is no way you can leave a car there. It is in an old town, so even for 5 minutes I don't think you will find free parking that easily . Luckily I wasn't alone so my friend picked the keys and I was ready to move the car at any point which I had to so drove in circles. If you are ordering something there to be delivered – do not use actual address. Use restaurant nearby and just go outside to pick it up, otherwise it's really complicated.

  It's our second time staying in the apartments. So I can compare to a year ago at this stage.
  The location is excellent. Old Town at its best. Bolt Food is a handy app if you want to eat in or choose from plenty of restaurants all nearby.
  Just mind the stairs, the apartment is on the 2nd floor.
  It can be hard to find the first time but the instructions provided are quite detailed.
  Dishwasher, 2 A/C units, fully equipped kitchen with cutlery for 4, toilet with shower. All as described.
  They now have shower gel dispenser since small bottles a year ago. Thank you. It was enough for a family of 5 this time.
  Spacious, central, convenient – 3 buzz words for this property. Free parking, enough towels, bed spaces and bed linen for 6 pax.
  
  What could be improved: The smell in the shower was awful. I think the apartment stayed idle for a few days (?) with stagnant water causing the issue. It did not disappear though after 5 people took shower. There was some dust on the towel rail as well.
  Shower head needs replacement (easy couple of euros fix).
  Bottle of water in the fridge would be a nice touch on arrival.
  And TV with 4 remotes is a challenge. Despite whole paragraph with instructions I had to delegate it to kids: they managed to get it going in the evening but failed the next day.

  Nice little apartment in a tucked-away location just a stroll away to some lovely squares and restaurants. Clear video for check in, comfortable and everything we needed. Wrong WiFi password was sent to us but quickly rectified so good communication. Many of the problems mentioned by other reviewers have been attended to, which is great. Note there are no curtains as in the photos in the main living area (so pack a sleep mask if you're on the sleeper couch!)
  
  The main issue mentioned by many still remains the really awful sewage smell coming from the bathroom. This really should be dealt with and to be honest, my review is probably too generous based on this. My children felt ill because of the bad smell and the door had to be kept closed all the time. Such a pity as it would otherwise be such a great little place!
