Central and Lovely Apartment in Vilnius Old Town by Reside Baltic Overview
Honestly, when I first walked up to Central and Lovely Apartment in Vilnius Old Town by Reside Baltic on Zemaitijos street, I wasn’t expecting much from a 3-star place. But you know what? Sometimes the best surprises come in unassuming packages. The building itself has that weathered Eastern European charm – nothing fancy, but solid and authentic in a way that makes you feel like you’re actually experiencing Vilnius, not just visiting some sanitized tourist bubble.
The location is what really won me over, though. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Old Town, and I’m talking about the real deal here – cobblestone streets that echo with your footsteps at night, medieval churches around every corner, and that intoxicating mix of centuries-old architecture and modern café culture. From the apartment, it’s maybe a three-minute walk to Cathedral Square, and you can practically smell the traditional Lithuanian bread baking from the little bakeries tucked into the narrow side streets. The morning light filtering through those Old Town alleys – especially in early autumn when I was there – creates this almost magical atmosphere that no hotel chain can replicate.
What surprised me most was how quiet it actually gets at night, despite being so central. Sure, you’ll hear some footsteps on the cobblestones and maybe the occasional late-night conversation drifting up from the street, but it’s not the kind of noise that keeps you awake. It’s more like… well, it’s like the Old Town is gently reminding you where you are. The apartment itself is clean and functional – nothing that’ll blow you away, but everything works, the Wi-Fi is solid (crucial for me since I was working remotely part of the time), and there’s enough space to spread out without feeling cramped. The 8.9 rating makes perfect sense once you realize this place delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. The Reside Baltic folks seem to understand that sometimes travelers just want a comfortable, well-located base where they can drop their bags and get out to explore – which is exactly what this is. If you’re the type who needs a concierge and room service, look elsewhere, but if you want to wake up in the morning and step directly into one of Europe’s most underrated historic centers, this spot hits that sweet spot between authentic and practical.
Hotels near me in Vilnius offer convenient access to the historic center, where guests can easily walk to Vilnius Cathedral, Gediminas Castle, and the famous Gate of Dawn.

Reviews of Central and Lovely Apartment in Vilnius Old Town by Reside Baltic
Nice apartment in center – Barbora from Czech Republic – July 8, 2025 (9/10)
Nice apartment in the center. Practical equipment including safety parking.
What could be improved: Online checkin with making photos of my ID.A very good option for the price. Clean, central, comfortable. – Loreta from Latvia – June 28, 2025 (8/10)
Clean, high ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Location is right next to everything. Multiple parking spots nearby (other than the 12€ per day) – you can check prices in the Unipark app.
What could be improved: A small, but annoying thing: No hand soap – had to tear open the flimsy shower gel packages to wash hands, but those are also the only soaps for the shower.
If you also have the unfortunate experience of contacting the apartment owners by phone, you’ll soon realize that speaking English won’t get you far. Keep communication to text form instead for the sake of everyones sanity.Comfortable apartment – Chester from United Kingdom – February 12, 2025 (10/10)
Comfortable apartment, lovely hosts, good location. Would recommend.

Švara ir vieta.
Good – Bartosz from Poland – August 11, 2025 (7/10)
Mieszkanie ma spory potencjał — jest przestronne, ma świetną lokalizację, duży telewizor i większość potrzebnych sprzętów.
What could be improved: Niestety, jest to lokal leciwy i zaniedbany.
Very Good – Agata from Poland – July 20, 2025 (8/10)
