Capsule Hostel Logistic Vilnius Overview

Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Capsule Hostel Logistic Vilnius out on Eišiškių plentas, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name alone had me scratching my head (logistic?), and the location in Naujininkai isn’t exactly where you’d picture a trendy capsule hotel. But you know what? Sometimes the best discoveries happen when you venture beyond the Old Town bubble.

The whole concept here is pretty fascinating, actually – they’ve taken this industrial-feeling space and created something that’s part Japanese capsule hotel, part modern hostel. The pods themselves are surprisingly well-designed, with decent ventilation and just enough space to not feel claustrophobic. I mean, you’re not going to be doing yoga in there, but for sleeping and having your own private retreat, it works better than you’d think. The shared bathrooms are kept impressively clean, which honestly can make or break this type of accommodation. What really caught me off guard was how quiet it stays at night – maybe it’s the slightly out-of-center location, but I slept better here than at some traditional hotels right in Gedimino prospektas where you get sirens and late-night revelers.

The area itself is sort of this emerging neighborhood that locals are just starting to discover. You’ve got the big Akropolis shopping center within walking distance if you need to grab essentials or catch a movie, and there’s this little cluster of cafes and restaurants that have popped up recently. The tram connections are actually pretty solid – you can get to the cathedral square in about 20 minutes, which isn’t bad considering you’re paying a fraction of what you’d spend closer to the action. Parking is free and plentiful, which anyone who’s tried to park near Pilies street will appreciate. The staff here genuinely seems to care about the place – they’ll give you real recommendations, not just the touristy stuff everyone suggests. I had this great conversation with one of the front desk guys about the best Georgian restaurants in the city (apparently there’s this hidden gem in Žvėrynas that even some locals don’t know about). The common areas have this relaxed vibe where people actually talk to each other instead of just staring at their phones. Sure, it’s not luxury accommodation, and the neighborhood still has that slightly gritty, transitional feel, but that’s part of what makes it interesting. For the price point and the experience of staying somewhere genuinely different in Vilnius, it’s worth considering – especially if you’re the type of traveler who likes discovering places before they become the next big thing.

I stayed at the hostel 2 times. Very good conditions, and the cost is normal. Clean, there is a safe box, all the necessary amenities.
Thanks to the manager at the reception Yulia for her responsiveness, very pleasant staff.
Hostel is close to the airport. There is a cafe in the same building.

  • Wonderful – Polina from United Kingdom – July 20, 2024 (9/10)

The late night check-in, early morning departure was very easily accommodated — simple solution for payment. At the same time, the place felt secure and well-managed even without a person being present around the clock.

What could be improved: The outlet in my cubicle didn't work and the showers could have been cleaner. But all in all, very put together place without the usual vices of hostels!

  • I really liked the layout of the hotel, it was a good experience – Gitanas from United Kingdom – June 20, 2024 (7/10)

The price on the internet does not correspond to buying on the spot in the hostel

What could be improved: I really liked the layout of the hotel, it was a good experience, but in the summer when it's hot, rest is an unbearable condition. Also, when ordering through booking, the price is twice as high as when buying upon arrival

  • I would recommend this place. – Tomas from Norway – May 24, 2024 (9/10)

It was really great cuz u could self check-in at night! The bed sheets and everything else was clean and ready. Also it was dark in the cabin and quiet.

  • Very Good – Laima from Latvia – May 8, 2024 (8/10)

A huge hostel with a very nice price.. Everything is clean, capsules give nice
a sense of privacy, there is a kitchen with everything you need. Good traffic with the city and you can go to the airport on foot. Thank you Lithuania.
The electrical contact for charging the mobile phone did not work.

  • Good – Patrik from Slovakia – April 17, 2024 (7/10)

    Surprisingly clean bathroom and toilets

What could be improved: At first sight area in front of the building does not feel tempting because of "random" people living nearby
