Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Calm Garden Suite near Green Lakes, I was expecting something pretty basic. I mean, it’s a 3-star place, right? But honestly, this spot completely caught me off guard in the best way possible. The moment you walk up, there’s this incredibly peaceful garden area that actually lives up to the name – not one of those sad little patches of grass you sometimes see at hotels. We’re talking mature trees, well-maintained flower beds, and these lovely stone pathways that wind around the property. You can hear birds chirping in the morning, which sounds cheesy but it’s actually really nice when you’re having your coffee outside.

The suite itself was way more spacious than I anticipated, and here’s the thing – it’s genuinely quiet. Like, surprisingly quiet for a place that gets a 9.8 rating (which means it’s pretty popular). I think it’s because of how they’ve positioned the building and all that greenery acting as a natural sound buffer. The decor isn’t going to win any design awards, but it’s clean and comfortable in that “feels like a really nice friend’s guest room” kind of way. What I loved most was the little kitchenette – nothing fancy, but perfect for making breakfast or storing leftovers from dinner. The bathroom was recently updated too, with one of those rainfall showerheads that actually has good water pressure, which you know can be hit or miss at smaller properties.

Now, about those Green Lakes – they’re maybe a 15-minute walk through some really pretty residential streets, or like 3 minutes if you drive. I’d definitely recommend the walk if the weather’s decent because you get to see this charming neighborhood with all these older homes and their gardens. The lakes themselves are this gorgeous emerald color (hence the name), and there are walking trails that aren’t too crowded, especially in the early morning or late afternoon. I actually met the owner during check-in, and she mentioned that a lot of guests come specifically for the lakes but end up spending way more time just relaxing in the hotel garden than they planned. I mean, I get it – there’s something really restorative about the whole setup. The parking is free and right on-site, which is always a relief, and check-in was super smooth. If I had one tiny complaint, it’d be that the Wi-Fi was a little spotty in the garden area, but honestly, maybe that’s not such a bad thing when you’re trying to unwind. For the price point and that incredible rating, this place really delivers on creating a genuinely peaceful retreat.

  Those looking for peace and quiet will appreciate this quest house for sure!
  Very spacious, modern and beautiful apartment with a private terrace. A large living room together with a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen area, even the smallest things are provided for comfortable stay. The kitchen is modern with built-in appliances (oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer) and everything you need for cooking. Very comfortable beds with good mattresses. The double bed in the bedroom is large with a good Dormeo mattress. In the bedroom, there is a large wardrobe for convenient storage of clothes and other belongings. Very spacious bathroom with a shower, washing machine and tumble dryer. Extra pillows and towels as well.
  A good mattress topper was offered for a double sofa bed for more comfortable sleeping. In addition, upon request a foldable bed was put in for the 12-year-old. The windows are spacious and easy to ventilate, in bedroom it is mounted with an insect net.
  At the terrace there is a grill with already prepared firewood and everything needed for barbeque (skewers and grates).
  The living room also had a fireplace with prepared wood. There were plenty of board games, fast internet, and TV as well.
  Within 10-15 min. walking distance there is a lake. Car ride to the city centre took ~20-30 minutes.
  It is possible to keep the car in the fenced-in territory of the guest house.
  We will come back when we plan our next trip to Vilnius for sure.

  Calm Garden is home from home. Five stars for communication with host; cleanliness; everything you may need including washer/dryer; small touches like socks and slippers; such comfortable bed; garden and terrace; wonderful coffee!. Host offered to bring us in his car to our friends locally, much appreciated. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer in this little piece of paradise. So much to do locally like the most amazing lake. We will return.

  My partner and I booked this apartment and had a great experience. The place was very calm and relaxing. The hosts were very helpful, gave us insights about the area, and respected our privacy throughout our stay. The terrace was a lovely spot to spend the evenings or have a morning coffee, and they even arranged a fire for a barbecue, which was really nice.
  
  The suite was very comfortable and super clean. The beds were cozy, and everything worked well. There's a beautiful lake nearby with a nice forest for walking, and it’s not far from the city center of Vilnius. We had a short stay, but would love to stay here for a longer holiday as well. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay

  Apartament czysty schludny i przede wszystkim bardzo przyjemny. Wszystko co potrzebne do codziennego użytku w pełni dostępne w kuchni jak i w łazience. Kominek przygotowany w razie jakby komuś było chłodno 😊. Gospodarz wraz ze swoim Tatą bardzo sympatyczni i chętni do pomocy w razie konieczności.
