Walking up Pamėnkalnio street (which locals just call Pamėnkalnis, honestly), you’re right in the heart of Naujamiestis, and there’s this energy that feels authentically Vilnius without being touristy. The apartment sits perfectly positioned where you can actually walk to the Old Town in about ten minutes, but you’re not dealing with the crowds and higher prices right on Cathedral Square.

The space itself has these gorgeous high ceilings and windows that flood everything with natural light – I’m talking serious light, the kind that makes you want to linger over coffee in the morning. The owner clearly gets what travelers need because there are thoughtful touches everywhere: good WiFi (actually fast, not just “good enough”), a proper kitchen where you can cook real meals, and honestly, the bed is comfortable enough that I slept better than I do at home. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, even though you’re on a fairly busy street. The building has thick walls, I guess – you hear a bit of the city hum during the day, but nothing that keeps you awake. Parking can be tricky around here (like most of central Vilnius), but there’s street parking if you’re patient, and honestly, you probably won’t need a car much once you’re settled in.

The location is what makes this place special, though. You’re a five-minute walk from Gediminas Avenue, where all the good shopping and cafes are, but Pamėnkalnio itself has this lovely residential feel with little local spots that tourists usually miss. There’s a fantastic bakery just down the street that opens early – I mean really early, like 6 AM – and the coffee there is better than what you’ll find in the tourist areas. The 9.4 rating makes sense when you stay here because it’s not trying to be fancy or oversell itself; it just does everything well. The check-in was smooth, the place was spotless, and it feels like staying in a friend’s apartment rather than some sterile hotel room. I’d definitely book this again, especially if you want to experience Vilnius like you actually live there for a few days rather than just passing through.

  The location is very convenient within 20 min walking distance from the Vilnius Buss station, and the public transport connection is very good, easy to get to every part of city. A day before arrival, we got a message from the apartment's representative that we could check in much earlier than usually and stay for a longer time than 11:00. Felt treated so well. Welcome gifts upon arrival just made this feeling stronger. There are plenty of tea options, and the coffee machine is equipped with all necessary. Stayed just for a night, but this place would also be a nice choice for a longer stay.

  Everything was perfect. The apartment is very close to multiple bus stops and the city center is within walking distance. All the bars and the restaurants are only a few minutes away. The check out was at 11' but the host let us stay longer!
