What I really appreciated were the practical touches that show someone actually thought about what travelers need. The kitchen isn’t just for show – I actually cooked a few meals there, and everything worked perfectly. The shower pressure was better than my apartment back home, and they’d stocked proper coffee (not those terrible instant packets you get in most places). There’s even decent Wi-Fi, which matters more than people admit when you’re trying to upload all those Cathedral Square photos. The check-in process was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that awkward waiting around in a tiny lobby situation.

I stayed there in late September when the weather was getting crisp, and I loved being able to walk everywhere without dealing with parking or public transport. You can reach the Gates of Dawn in five minutes, Užupis in ten if you don’t mind a little hill climbing, and honestly, some of the best restaurants in the city are practically on your doorstep. That 9.8 rating makes total sense once you’ve been there – it’s one of those places where the small details just work together perfectly. The apartment manages to feel both authentically Lithuanian and completely comfortable for international visitors, which isn’t as easy as it sounds in these old buildings.
