Brand New Luma Apartments by Reside Baltic Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Brand New Luma Apartments by Reside Baltic, you immediately get that “oh, this is actually nice” feeling. The building sits right on Sodu street in the heart of Vilnius Old Town, and honestly, the location couldn’t be better if you tried. I mean, you’re literally surrounded by cobblestone streets and medieval architecture — it’s the kind of spot where you feel like you’re staying inside a postcard, but without the tourist trap vibe. The neighborhood pulses with history and charm at every corner.

The Apartment Experience

These aren’t your typical hotel rooms — each apartment feels like someone’s stylish city pad that they’ve let you borrow for a few days. The spaces are genuinely modern (hence the “brand new” in the name), with clean lines and that Scandinavian-meets-Baltic aesthetic that works so well here. You’ll find a proper kitchenette that’s actually functional, not just decorative, which is perfect when you want to grab some local cheese and bread from the nearby market and have breakfast at your own pace. The design thoughtfully balances comfort with contemporary style throughout.

Location Magic

Here’s what I love about staying here — you can walk to pretty much everything that matters in Vilnius Old Town. The Cathedral Square is maybe a five-minute stroll, and you’re even closer to some of the city’s best little cafés and galleries that locals actually frequent. Couples seem to really get this location (they rate it 9.4, which honestly makes sense), because there’s something romantic about wandering these narrow streets together, then coming back to your own private space rather than a standard hotel room. The pedestrian-friendly streets make exploration effortless and delightful.

Practical Perks

One thing that surprised me — they have private parking right on site, which is actually a big deal in Old Town Vilnius. Most places around here either don’t have parking at all or you’re stuck circling the block looking for a spot. It’s one of those details that doesn’t sound exciting until you need it, then you’re really grateful. The four-star rating feels about right — it’s polished and comfortable without being overly fancy or pretentious. This practical amenity sets the property apart from competitors in the historic district.

Why Guests Love It

What really works about Brand New Luma Apartments is that balance between independence and service. You get the freedom of having your own space — perfect for spreading out, cooking a simple meal, or just lounging around in something other than a standard hotel setup — but you’re still in a professionally managed property. The Old Town location means you’re walking distance from everything worth seeing, yet the apartments themselves feel like a quiet retreat from the tourist crowds. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to spend time in your accommodation, not just crash there between sightseeing. Guests consistently praise the thoughtful blend of autonomy and support.

Vilnius’s hotels showcase the perfect blend of Lithuanian tradition and modern comfort, with many featuring cultural tour services and authentic Baltic hospitality.

Reviews of Brand New Luma Apartments by Reside Baltic

  • Fair – Sose from Lithuania – August 17, 2025 (5/10)

    The location

What could be improved: The shower was flooding, when we called the host she didn’t seem to care.

My inbox was spammed by messages about how clean we need to leave everything and there was a feeling that even before us the only cleaning was done by guests and not the hosts

  • Clean but lacked personal amenities – Kristina from United States – July 30, 2025 (6/10)

The property was very clean, newly renovated and in a good location on the edge of the old town: about a 15-minute walk. The check-in process was clear and easy. The bed was comfortable with white sheets and comfortable pillows.

What could be improved: The property lacked the little touches that make a space comfortable. No bedside tables or lamps, no shower gel, shampoo in the bathroom or washing liquid in the small kitchen, no hooks for towels or even a hand towel. You need to bring everything with you. The bathroom was also extremely small. Anyone with long legs wouldn’t be able to sit on the toilet as their knees would hit the wall. The towels were thin and a bit ragged and you only get one per person. No extra towel or you need to wash your hair. While it was very clean and new, it wasn’t the most comfortable. A few small amenities would make a huge difference. Also, if you have any physical challenges, there’s no elevator. We had to take our bags up 3 flights of stairs.

What could be improved: Numuriņa nebija gaisa un bija ļoti karsti, jo bija aizlīmēti logi. Ienākot numuriņa, smird pēc kanalizācijas. Lietojot izlietni un dušu, smaka pazūd. Numuriņš nebija labi iztīrīta pirms mums.

  • Great location, easy check-in but wouldnt stay for many days. – Anita from Finland – July 15, 2025 (5/10)

It was clean and Kitchen was well equipped.

What could be improved: Would have been nice to see outside but there were only two skylights. The shower floded easily in the bathroom and needed to use towels to dry the floor every time after shower.

  • Good – Huisken from Netherlands – June 2, 2025 (7/10)

Location. Clarity of communication. Check-in. Clean.

What could be improved: Airco broken in suite 31. Window locked, no fresh air.

  • Good – Mehdi from France – June 1, 2025 (7/10)

, le logement est très bien et l'emplacement également

What could be improved: La cabine de douche qui n'evacuait pas l'eau correctement

  • Cozy and central – Laila from Latvia – May 25, 2025 (8/10)

Nice little loft apartment, cozy and warm, perfect for me as a solo female traveler. Great location right next to the train station and close to the center. Everything was newly furnished.

What could be improved: Shower leaked but I think they are planning to fix it

  • Wonderful – John from Sweden – May 6, 2025 (9/10)

  • Exceptional – Tomasz from Poland – May 5, 2025 (10/10)

Modern apartment in an old tenement house. Clean and pleasant. Very close to the Old Town. Private parking. Excellent contact with staff. Clear instructions for check-in and key collection.

  • Exceptional – Angie from Germany – May 3, 2025 (10/10)

Very comfortable apartment, easily accessible. Friendly hosts, so would recommend
