Brand New Downtown Apartments by Reside Baltic Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Brand New Downtown Apartments by Reside Baltic, I wasn’t expecting much from the name alone. But after spending time on Aguonu Street in the Naujamiestis district, I get why this place has such a stellar 9.4 rating. The apartments really do feel brand new, and there’s something refreshing about staying somewhere that doesn’t have that worn-around-the-edges feeling you get at so many city accommodations.
What struck me first was how quiet Aguonu Street actually is, considering you’re smack in the middle of Vilnius’s newer district. I mean, you’re close enough to walk to the Old Town – maybe fifteen minutes if you’re not dawdling – but the street itself has this residential calm that makes you feel like you’ve found a little pocket of local life. The apartments themselves have that crisp, minimalist Scandinavian vibe that Baltic properties do so well, with plenty of natural light streaming through large windows. You know what I really appreciated? The kitchens are actually functional, not just for show. I could make proper coffee in the morning and even cook dinner if I wanted to skip the restaurant scene for a night.
The Naujamiestis location is honestly perfect if you want to experience Vilnius like someone who lives there, rather than just hitting the tourist spots. There’s a small grocery store just around the corner – one of those neighborhood places where the cashier starts recognizing you after a couple of visits. Walking toward the city center, you’ll pass some great local cafés that haven’t made it into guidebooks yet, and the tree-lined streets give you a real sense of how Lithuanians actually live day to day. I found the check-in process surprisingly smooth (they actually answer their phones, which isn’t always a given with apartment rentals), and the space felt immediately comfortable rather than sterile. The only minor thing – and this is really nitpicking – is that the building’s entrance is a bit understated, so you might walk past it once before realizing you’ve arrived. But honestly, for a 3-star property with ratings this high, you’re getting way more space and authenticity than you’d find in a traditional hotel room for the same price.

What could be improved: NothingLovely brand new apartment in quiet street – Nook from United Kingdom – July 24, 2025 (10/10)
Brand new apartment in a residential, quiet area. Well equipped and easy to access. Bed was a little hard for us, but that's more personal preference. Had dishwasher, washing machine, and coffee pod machine, which were nice touches. About 5 min walk to a big supermarket for supplies and about 10 min walk to the train and bus station.
What could be improved: Was a fair walk to the old town – probably about 20 mins, so it's not great if you're not mobile. It was fine for us, but just be aware.Exceptional – Mike from Germany – July 22, 2025 (10/10)
