I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Brand New 58 Loft with Free Parking, I thought it was going to be one of those generic modern places with zero personality. Boy, was I wrong. This spot on Geležinio Vilko really surprised me, and I mean that in the best way possible.

The location is actually pretty clever if you know Vilnius at all. You’re technically in Šnipiškės, which puts you just across the river from Old Town – maybe a 15-minute walk to Cathedral Square, though honestly, I usually just grab one of those lime scooters scattered around the neighborhood. What I love about this area is that it feels like where actual Lithuanians live and work, not just tourist central. There’s this great little bakery called Duona just down the street where locals grab their morning coffee (way better than hotel lobby coffee, trust me), and you’ll hear more Lithuanian than English walking around, which I find refreshing. The free parking thing isn’t just a nice-to-have here – it’s genuinely valuable because finding a spot in central Vilnius can be a real headache, especially during summer when everyone’s visiting.

The loft itself has that industrial-chic thing going on, but it’s done thoughtfully rather than just slapping some exposed brick on the walls and calling it a day. The ceilings are high enough that you don’t feel cramped, and there’s actually decent natural light, which can be hit-or-miss in these converted spaces. I appreciated the little touches – like having a proper coffee setup instead of those terrible instant packets, and the shower pressure is surprisingly good (you know what I’m talking about if you’ve stayed in enough European accommodations). The 8.9 rating makes sense when you consider what you’re getting for the price point. It’s not luxury by any means, but everything works properly and the place feels clean and well-maintained. I did notice some street noise in the mornings since Geležinio Vilko gets busy with commuter traffic, but nothing that light sleepers can’t handle with earplugs.

What really won me over was the neighborhood vibe, though. You’ve got the modern business district energy during the day – lots of glass office buildings and that sort of thing – but it mellows out nicely in the evenings. There’s easy access to both the river walkway (perfect for morning runs) and the main city center without feeling like you’re staying in a tourist trap. Plus, if you’re planning day trips outside Vilnius, being on this side of the city actually puts you closer to the main highways heading north or west. It’s one of those places that works well whether you’re in town for business or just exploring Lithuania, and honestly, the fact that you don’t have to stress about parking makes the whole experience more relaxed from the moment you arrive.

  The apartment was aesthetically pleasing. The location is good if you are looking for a place near compensa concert hall, it is in walking distance away from the building. There were pots and pans, so easy to cook dinner. The bathroom was great. It is really easy to get a taxi to the building. There is a grocery store in walking distance. There is soap, shampoo and shower gel is you don’t have your own. And the bedding was really good and comfortable.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was cold and moist as the apartment does not have central heating but only a AC, and because of the moisture there was mold in the kitchen area. As well, we had to buy toilet paper as there were only 3 rolls that were more than half way done.

  What could be improved: Nėra,kad nepatiko, bet..Prie atvykimo instrukcijos reikėtų pridėti nuorodą kur sukti. Nes atvykstant iš kito miesto teko keletą kartų apsukti kol radome įvažiavimą.
