The cobblestones here are the real deal too, which means you’ll want to pack shoes with good grip (learned that the hard way during a light rain). I mean, you’re still walking distance from all the big attractions – Cathedral Square, Gediminas Tower, the works – but you get to retreat to this quieter pocket when you need a break from the crowds.

The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you settle in. Look, this isn’t luxury accommodation, and they’re not pretending to be. What they do well is the basics: clean, comfortable spaces with enough character to feel distinctly Lithuanian rather than generically European. The staff actually knows the neighborhood – when I asked about where to grab coffee that wasn’t touristy, they pointed me toward this little place two streets over that I never would’ve found otherwise. Parking can be a bit tricky in Old Town (honestly, it’s tricky everywhere in Vilnius), but they’ll give you the real scoop on your options rather than just shrugging. One thing to know – the building has that old-world charm, which sometimes means quirky plumbing or the occasional creak, but that’s part of the experience when you’re staying in a historic district that dates back centuries. If you’re the type who gets annoyed by character flaws, maybe stick to the modern chain hotels outside the center. But if you want to feel like you’re actually staying in Vilnius rather than just visiting it, BOSTONA Flat delivers on that promise without breaking the bank.

  What could be improved: Second floor is too low, an adult cannot stand there. Pictures show two different toilets, but there's just one.

  Perfect location. Perfect place for a couple to stay, however as there were 3 of us, additional 'bed' (mattress) upstairs was the thing we needed and found in the apartment. Appeared to be clean, also apartment has got everything you might need for a short or a long stay. The landlord also seemed to be really helpful, could call at any time and get an answer to every question.
  
  What could be improved: There is a car park, which is great, however it's locked and can be only opened by landlord, which should be mentioned in the description to avoid any confusion. Also, mould on the ceiling.

  Owner allowed the overnight car parking in the yard for free of charge.
  
  What could be improved: Room was very dark, furniture was very old & crampy. Room was having some smell & even mattresses were having smell because of which couldn’t sleep properly. Bathroom was very old & water drainage was not proper.
