This four-star property sits right in the heart of Vilnius‘ main artery, and there’s something refreshingly unpretentious about the whole setup that actually works in its favor.

Location That Actually Delivers

Here’s the thing about Gedimino Prospektas — it’s basically the Champs-Élysées of Vilnius, except way more walkable and less touristy. You’re literally steps from everything that matters in the Old Town, but you’re not drowning in crowds of tour groups. I noticed couples seem to gravitate toward this spot, and honestly, I get it. There’s something romantic about being able to stroll to Cathedral Square in five minutes, then duck into one of those cozy wine bars tucked into the medieval streets. The parking situation is actually manageable here too, which anyone who’s driven in European city centers will appreciate.

The Room Experience

My room was on the fourth floor facing the prospektas, and I have to say — the views of the street life below were pretty entertaining. The space itself felt modern without being sterile, which is a balance a lot of hotels struggle with. What I really appreciated were the little details: proper blackout curtains (essential for those bright Baltic summer nights), a decent-sized desk if you need to get work done, and a bathroom that actually had enough counter space for your toiletries. Nothing groundbreaking, but everything just… worked.

Neighborhood Vibes

Naujamiestis translates to “New Town,” but don’t let that fool you — this area has plenty of character. What I love about staying here is that you get the best of both worlds: easy access to the UNESCO-listed Old Town, but you’re also in the middle of where actual Vilnius residents live and work. There’s a great restaurant called Džiaugsmas just around the corner that serves modern Lithuanian cuisine, and the morning coffee scene along the prospektas is surprisingly good. You’ll find yourself people-watching from the café terraces more than you planned.

Why Guests Love It

Look, Best Place isn’t trying to be the fanciest hotel in Vilnius, and that’s exactly why it works so well. The staff genuinely seems to care about making your stay smooth rather than just going through the motions, and the location really is hard to beat if you want to explore the city on foot. I noticed a lot of couples during my stay, and it makes sense — there’s something intimate about being right in the pulse of the city without feeling overwhelmed by it. Plus, when you can walk to Užupis (the self-declared “republic” district) in fifteen minutes and be back for a nightcap at one of the nearby bars, you start to understand why people keep coming back here.

Atvykus į apgyventinimo vietą neįleido bei nesiteikė jokios info,kaip patekti į patalpas. Telefonu nebendrauja visisškai. Raštu parašė,jog neįleis. Raštu mėtėsi kažkokiais mistiniais kaltinimais bookingui ir žmonėms,kurie perka platformoje apgyvendinimo paslaugas. Daugiau kaip lauko durų pamatyti neteko.
