Baron’s Arthouse Apartment Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first turned onto Savičiaus street looking for Baron’s Arthouse Apartment, I almost walked right past it. The entrance is tucked away in this beautifully restored building that doesn’t scream “hotel,” which is actually perfect because you’re staying in what feels like a local’s sophisticated pad rather than some sterile accommodation. The Old Town location is ridiculously good – I mean, you’re literally a two-minute stroll from Cathedral Square, but here’s the thing most people don’t realize: Savičiaus is one of those quiet side streets where you won’t get the rowdy weekend crowds that can make some Old Town spots feel like a party zone at night.
What really got me about this place was the attention to detail that you only notice after you’ve been there a while. The apartment genuinely feels curated – not in that trying-too-hard Instagram way, but like someone who actually knows art chose every piece on the walls. The kitchen setup is surprisingly functional (I made coffee every morning and it didn’t feel like camping), and honestly, the bed situation is top-notch. You know how some boutique places sacrifice comfort for style? Not here. The bathroom’s compact but cleverly designed, with this great shower that actually has proper water pressure – small thing, maybe, but when you’ve walked cobblestones all day, it matters. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which saved me when I needed to sort out some work stuff.
Here’s what I’d tell anyone considering staying here: if you’re looking for a lobby scene or room service, this isn’t your spot. But if you want to feel like you’re crashing at a well-connected friend’s place in the heart of Vilnius – someone with excellent taste who happens to live steps from Pilies Street’s restaurants and about a five-minute walk to the best coffee at Crooked Nose & Coffee Stories – then this is exactly where you want to be. The check-in was smooth (they actually met me at the building, which was helpful since the entrance isn’t obvious), and the space feels both historic and completely livable. That 9.6 rating makes sense when you realize you’re getting boutique hotel vibes with apartment-style independence, all wrapped up in a location that lets you experience Vilnius like you actually live there rather than just passing through.
Exploring Vilnius offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Lithuania’s cultural heart, from its UNESCO-listed baroque old town to its vibrant contemporary arts scene and beautiful Baltic atmosphere.

Very nice and helpful owner
Great location! – Svetlana from Latvia – January 6, 2025 (10/10)
Location awesome. We enjoyed Christmas atmosphere in old town.
Two separate bedrooms. One bedroom is on street side therefore it can be a little loud, because all bars are open and people are enjoin evening and night life. But for us it wasn't problem. Lot of space in apartment.
Apartment owner met us, help us with luggage. All was great. Thanks!Fantastico location, comfortable and spacious apartment and great host. – Ashleigh from United Kingdom – September 29, 2024 (10/10)
Great location. Fantastic facilities and very comfortable. Host was extremely friendly.
What could be improved: It does get quite noisy at night on the street outside, as it’s such a central location, so would suggest bringing ear plugs.Everything what a guest could wish for a beautiful and fulfilling experience. – Luka from Croatia – September 25, 2024 (10/10)
The location is superb, everything was walking distance, we didn’t even have to use the public transport during our stay and it’s easily accessible with any kind of transportation from the airport. The accomodation itself is very comfortable, has absolutely everything one would need and feels very homely. The host was exceptionally helpful and cordial, making sure that our stay enjoyable. We will forever cherish our memories from Vilnius, which exceeded all of our expectations.
What could be improved: There is not a single thing that we didn’t like.Clean tidy, well furnished apartment, centrally located, met all my criteria. – Angela from United Kingdom – June 23, 2024 (10/10)
It was clean, tidy, well furnished and centrally located.
The apartment is the perfect starting point to experience Vilnius! – Rebecca from Germany – June 2, 2024 (10/10)
Our host Vytautas was extremely accommodating – he confirmed our arrival time the day before, took time to explain the apartment, and helped us with the luggage and the car. The apartment is located in a small historic alley in Vilnius, with many restaurants and bars, but the windows are soundproof, so you don't hear any noise if you don't want to. Besides, it's not a big issue because the Lithuanians are very civilized and quiet. Everything in the apartment worked perfectly, it is stylishly furnished, and it was ideally suited for us as a family.
What could be improved: If I have to mention a criticism, it would be the shower: The water pressure wasn't very high, and the showerhead holder didn't hold it anymore, so we had to hold the showerhead ourselves. There was also a rain shower, but we didn't know how to use it. However, this is the only issue!Exceptional – Annija from Latvia – January 23, 2024 (10/10)
Great location, great host. Everything was provided and the host tried his best to accommodate us.
What could be improved: would have been nice to have heat resistant gloves for the oven, but only you are trying to cook something in the oven, otherwise everything was perfectSpacious apartment in heart of Vilnius old town. – Jodi from United Kingdom – May 4, 2023 (10/10)
The property was spacious and lovely. in the heart of the old town so extremely convenient to explore, with everything on your doorstep. the host went above and beyond to help make it a wonderful stay.
What could be improved: I would have liked thicker curtains or blinds as there was only a light cloth covering both bedroom windows. My friend also used the spare mattress as the one in the bedroom was too soft.Beautiful apartment – Raminta from United Kingdom – April 20, 2023 (10/10)
I'm really happy with our stay in Baron Arthouse apartment. Place very airy and clean. Both bedrooms are good in size with comfortable beds.
The apartment itself is set in central Old Town with easy accessible to most famous places, shops nearby.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. Really recommend this place.
