But honestly, that’s part of its charm. This place feels more like stumbling into someone’s eclectic apartment building than checking into a typical hotel, and I mean that in the best way possible. The whole vibe is refreshingly unpretentious, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to get a real feel for Vilnius rather than being cocooned in some sterile chain property.

What really struck me about this spot is how it manages to be both social and chill at the same time. The pub downstairs – and yes, there’s actually a proper pub right there in the building – becomes this natural gathering spot where you’ll hear a mix of Lithuanian, English, and whatever other languages the international crowd is speaking that night. It gets lively, sure, but not obnoxiously so, and the sound doesn’t really carry up to the rooms as much as you’d expect. The rooms themselves are… well, let’s call them functional rather than fancy. You’re not getting luxury here, and the 6.5 rating probably reflects that reality pretty accurately. But the beds are comfortable enough, everything’s clean, and there’s this lived-in authenticity that feels genuine rather than manufactured. The staff actually knows the neighborhood – like, really knows it – so when they recommend that little café around the corner or tell you which bus to take, they’re not just reading from some script.

Location-wise, you’re perfectly positioned to explore both the old town charm and the more modern parts of Vilnius without feeling stuck in either. Goštauto street puts you within walking distance of the cathedral and Gediminas Avenue, but you’re also close enough to some of the newer bars and restaurants that locals actually frequent. I noticed a lot of repeat visitors here, which tells you something – people come back not because it’s the fanciest place in town, but because it feels real and unpretentious. The whole experience reminds you that sometimes the best travel memories come from places that don’t try too hard to impress you, they just let you settle in and be part of the neighborhood for a while.

  Дуже зручне розташування, привітний персонал, який розмовляє декількома мовами.
  
  Є можливість підігріти свою їду, або зробити каву, є холодильник. А є можливість замовити горячий смачний обід у барі який прилягає до хостелу.
  
  Чиста постіль. Зрозумілий цілодобовий доступ до закладу. Є все необхідне, щоб провести декілька днів у Вільнюсі. Є можливість зняти окрему кімнату на трьох людей. Заклад може підійти для сім'ї з дітьми підлітками.

  What could be improved: загальну картину мені це не зіпсувало. Але для деяких це може бути важливим.
  
  П'ятниця ввечері у Литві завжди багатолюдний вечір в усіх барах. Тут не було виключення. Шум від бару чути у хостелі.

  What could be improved: Это ночлежка для очень неприхотливых бомжей. Комнату сняли для семьи из трёх человек, просто переспать часа 4. Оказалось, что белье никто не менял от прежних постояльцев. Жена просто побрезговала спать в такой постели. В мужском туалете не было ни бумаги, ни даже стульчака. Натурально трэш. Из обслуги никого не видели, попасть в комнату – настоящий квест. Не советую эту контору

  What could be improved: Приехали в 23.00 и столкнулись с проблемой заселения, сотрудников не было, коды от дверей нам никто не дал. В течении 40 минут дважды созванивались с сотрудником чтобы попасть в номер. Время прибытия было оговорено при заказе, также просили стоянку для автомобиля. О стоянке никто не позаботился, хотя места для стоянки было много.
