Bali house Vilnius Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Bali house Vilnius on T. Vrublevskio street, you’d honestly never guess what awaits inside from the modest exterior. This four-star boutique property sits right in the thick of Vilnius Old Town, and I mean literally — you’re surrounded by cobblestone streets and medieval architecture that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. The entrance is understated, which I actually appreciate because it feels more like discovering a local secret than checking into a tourist trap.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s the thing about the location — it’s not just “central,” it’s perfectly positioned. You can walk to Vilnius Cathedral in about three minutes, and the Presidential Palace is practically next door. What I love is that couples consistently rate this spot a 9.6, and after staying here, I get why. You’re close enough to everything that matters but tucked away on a quieter street, so you’re not dealing with the main tourist crowds right outside your window. The Old Town’s winding streets can be confusing, but from Bali house, you can navigate to any major sight without getting lost.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in had this interesting blend of modern comfort with subtle nods to Lithuanian design — nothing too heavy-handed, just thoughtful touches that remind you where you are. The space felt larger than typical European city center accommodations, and honestly, the bed was surprisingly comfortable. What struck me was the attention to details like proper lighting for reading and enough outlets where you actually need them. The bathroom was well-appointed without being flashy, and the water pressure was solid — you know how hit-or-miss that can be in historic buildings.
Neighborhood Character
Stepping out of the hotel, you’re immediately immersed in what makes Vilnius special. The Old Town here isn’t just preserved buildings turned into souvenir shops — there’s actual life happening. You’ll find locals grabbing coffee at nearby cafés, and there’s this great little restaurant called Lokys just around the corner that serves traditional Lithuanian game dishes in a medieval cellar setting. The streets around Bali house have this authentic European charm where you can wander for hours and keep discovering hidden courtyards and art galleries tucked into centuries-old buildings.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.6 rating makes perfect sense once you experience how everything comes together here. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers exactly what you want when exploring Vilnius — comfort, location, and that feeling of staying somewhere that locals would actually recommend. The staff genuinely knows the area and can point you toward experiences beyond the typical tourist checklist. For couples especially, there’s something romantic about being able to stroll through medieval streets at night and be back in your comfortable room within minutes, without dealing with trams or taxis.
Early hotels booking in Vilnius requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s magnificent baroque architecture and vibrant arts scene.

Reviews of Bali house Vilnius
Great location, great stay. – Verena from Austria – August 21, 2025 (8/10)
very great location, great facilities – the shower is amazing and they even offer shampoo, conditioner and soap.
The staff is very friendly.
The rooms and the entire Bali house is very clean.
What could be improved: minor thing, but there is no "common area" to hang out really – more a hallway where the light goes out every 30 seconds. Totally fine if you are out and about anyway all day, but there is no chilling area – this might be sad if you travel alone and want to meet people. A great stay, but not very social in that aspect.Exceptional – Daiane from Ireland – August 3, 2025 (10/10)
The location is perfect, close to the old town and restaurants.
What could be improved: The only thing that I suggest is cleaning the bathrooms with products (the bathrooms smell a pee all the time). It’s a great place to stay if you’re looking to explore Vilnius City Center and Old Town by foot! – Roberta from Lithuania – August 2, 2025 (10/10)
The property was clean, cozy, well taken care of, the view from the window was spectacular as well!
What could be improved: Even though we had shared bathrooms and kitchen, that was never a problem, the rooms were clean, and never crowded.Amazing stay, would choose this place again. – Kamilė from Lithuania – July 27, 2025 (10/10)
Very neat, great location, room is big enough and the bed is very comfortable.
What could be improved: Nothing, everything was great.Exceptional – Paloma from Mexico – July 17, 2025 (10/10)
Everything.
Good stay at great location – Kimberly from Netherlands – July 11, 2025 (8/10)
Location was great. Everything at walking distance. Comfortable room with nice decorations. Bathroom and shower was shared but spacious. Shared space with tea, microwave and fridge was also nice
What could be improved: No ventilation in the bathroomsExceptional – Alex from Belarus – July 11, 2025 (10/10)
Very clean room, it was comfortable. The staff was very friendly.
Wonderful – Antonio from Ireland – July 2, 2025 (9/10)
I call the person responsible for the property and she was so kind and patient. This means a lot for me.
Well situated and spacious rooms – Jean-marie from Australia – July 1, 2025 (9/10)
It was the first time in my traveling life that I had to deal with multiple entry codes as well as a coded keybox. But once passed the open sesame hurdles, I find a very pleasant room.
I never saw any staff. But communication via the clouds was heavenly.
What could be improved: Booking•com mentions courtyard view rooms. Line was a main street view, ground level. At first it wasnoisy due to the paved road surface, as well as people walking by, talking. But once the double insulation window closed, the noise became insignificant. After 8pm, it was total silence.
Bedside power point should be double rather than single. As is the choice is either use the bedside lamp and not use your phone charger or the opposite, use the charger and not have a bedside light… None of the above made my stay uncomfortabe.Wonderful – Edita from United Kingdom – June 16, 2025 (9/10)
Amazing location and spacious rooms!!
What could be improved: It would be nice to have a TV:) and a but better kitchen facilities… there wasn't even a knife…
