There’s barely any traffic on Lenktoji street, so you sleep like the dead, but you’re close enough to hear the city humming in the distance. Parking was surprisingly easy (a miracle in any European city center), and there’s this lovely little park practically at your doorstep where locals walk their dogs and old men play chess on weekend mornings. I actually started taking my coffee there because the whole scene was just so perfectly normal and relaxing. Look, if you want a big hotel with a lobby full of tour groups and a concierge in a uniform, this isn’t your place.
