Artist apartment Overview
You know what struck me first about Artist apartment? The name actually makes sense – and I mean that in the best way possible. So many places throw around artsy names without backing it up, but this 3-star spot genuinely feels like staying in someone’s creative space rather than a cookie-cutter hotel room.
I’ll be honest, the whole vibe here is refreshingly unpretentious. The walls have this mix of local artwork and vintage prints that feel curated but not stuffy – like someone with actual taste put thought into it rather than just ordering everything from a hotel supply catalog. The furniture has character too, with these interesting vintage pieces mixed in with modern essentials. Nothing matches perfectly, but that’s exactly why it works. I actually found myself photographing the space more than usual because there were these little artistic touches everywhere that caught my eye.
What really sets this place apart is how it manages to feel both bohemian and comfortable at the same time. The bed was genuinely good – firm but not like sleeping on concrete – and the linens felt quality without being overly fancy. The lighting is thoughtfully done too, with these warm lamps that make evening hours feel cozy rather than harsh. I mean, you can tell someone who understands ambiance designed this space. The kitchenette area is compact but surprisingly functional if you’re planning to grab groceries and eat in occasionally. And honestly, with an 8.6 rating, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but that score feels spot-on – it’s not trying to be luxury, but it absolutely nails what it is going for.
The neighborhood itself has this authentic local energy that you don’t always find near tourist accommodations. There’s actual life happening around you – coffee shops where locals hang out, small galleries, that sort of thing. I noticed the sound levels were pretty reasonable too, which can be hit or miss in artsy neighborhoods. Parking can be a bit of an adventure (isn’t it always?), but nothing terrible if you’re patient. Check-in was smooth and the person working there actually seemed to know the area well when I asked about dinner recommendations. They pointed me toward this little spot a few blocks away that I never would have found otherwise – exactly the kind of insider knowledge that makes a difference.
Best hotels in Vilnius range from charming boutique properties in the baroque Old Town to elegant modern hotels with stunning views of the Neris River and Gediminas Tower.

Reviews of Artist apartment
David from Ireland (9/10)
Lovely large modern apartment, particularly the air conditioning in 35 degree summer temperature. Excellent hosts. Location very central.
Käti from Estonia (8/10)
A nice big apartment in the -1 floor of an apartment building. Getting a parking space seemed tricky at first but we managed to get the last place behind the house. For the collection of the keys you have to meet the host, but they were quick to answer. Good value for the money.
