Apartments in Vilnius Overview
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Apartments in Vilnius on Kalvarijų gatvė, I wasn’t expecting much. The Žirmūnai district isn’t exactly where most tourists end up, but you know what? That turned out to be the best part. This place sits in a proper residential neighborhood where you actually hear Lithuanian conversations instead of tour groups, and there’s something refreshing about that.
The building itself has that solid Eastern European apartment block vibe, but once you’re inside, it’s clear someone put real thought into making these spaces work for travelers. The apartments are genuinely spacious – not that fake “spacious” you see in hotel marketing where they photograph a closet with a wide-angle lens. I mean actual room to spread out your stuff and not live out of a suitcase. The kitchens are properly equipped too, which matters if you’re staying more than a couple nights or (like me) you get tired of restaurant food. I actually ended up cooking breakfast most mornings because there’s a decent little grocery store just down the street, and honestly, picking up fresh bread and local cheese became part of the whole experience.
Location-wise, you’re about a fifteen-minute walk from the Old Town, which sounds far but really isn’t – especially when you realize you’re avoiding all the crowd chaos around Cathedral Square. The walk takes you through some interesting neighborhoods you’d never see otherwise, and there’s a bus stop practically outside if the weather’s awful or you’re feeling lazy. Parking was surprisingly easy, which anyone who’s driven in Vilnius will tell you is not something to take for granted. The area gets quiet at night, but not eerily quiet – just normal residential quiet where you can actually sleep without earplugs. I stayed here during late spring when the windows could stay open, and you’d hear birds in the morning instead of traffic, which was pretty lovely actually. The 8.7 rating makes sense once you spend a few days here – it’s not flashy or Instagram-perfect, but everything works the way it should, the WiFi doesn’t cut out during video calls, and the whole experience just feels… reliable, I guess? Like staying in a friend’s well-maintained apartment rather than a hotel room that gets turned over twice a day. If you’re the type who values having your own space and doesn’t need someone bringing you fresh towels every morning, this place gets it right.
Early hotels booking in Vilnius requires advance planning during peak cultural seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s magnificent baroque architecture and vibrant arts scene.

A very nice stay and I really appreciate the quick response of the hosts! 🙂
Please note if you are booking through Booking.com that this is a two bed NOT a two bedroom apartment!!The police is very well decorated, having kitchen is also wonderful in the morning. Highly recommend – Dimitry from Latvia – June 21, 2025 (10/10)
The place was very modern and nice. Clean. I would stay there again. Full kitchen was also very nice.
What could be improved: I would recommend updating check-in procedure and show step-by-step directions how to find the lockbox. It is hidden behind the door on the first floor, and if I wasn’t shown by other guests, I might’ve spent some more time looking for it.Great place for a couple of nights – Tomas from Lithuania – June 14, 2025 (10/10)

Modern and clean. All necessary household appliances are there. Well equipped kitchen for a short stay. Comfortable bed with 2 duvets. Free parking. Clear instructions on how to get there and self check in.
What could be improved: No regular tv channels. No hairdryer. Could not get AC to run to heat up the room quickly.
