Apartment parking loft Akaciju Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Apartment parking loft Akaciju? The name makes it sound almost industrial, but honestly, there’s something pretty charming about this place once you settle in. I mean, it’s got that converted loft vibe going on – you can tell someone put real thought into making what could’ve been a sterile space feel actually livable. The ceilings are higher than you’d expect, and there’s this nice interplay between the original architectural bones and the modern touches they’ve added.
The parking situation is legitimately great, which I know sounds boring but trust me, you’ll appreciate it. No circling the block hunting for a spot or worrying about street cleaning schedules. Just pull right in and you’re done. The neighborhood itself has this quiet, residential feel – not dead quiet, but that comfortable hum of people actually living their lives rather than tourist chaos. I found myself walking around in the evenings just because the streets felt safe and there were these little pockets of local life you’d stumble across. A corner café here, someone’s grandmother tending to an impressive balcony garden there.
What really impressed me was how functional everything felt without being cold or hotel-generic. The loft setup means you’ve got proper space to spread out – room to actually unpack your suitcase instead of living out of it for a week. The kitchen area is small but totally workable if you want to grab some groceries and make breakfast instead of hunting down coffee every morning. And honestly, for a 3-star place, the attention to detail surprised me. Little things like decent water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound weird but it matters – drawer handles that don’t come off in your hand. The Wi-Fi was solid too, which saved me when I had to jump on a work call unexpectedly.
The location grows on you. It’s not right in the thick of tourist central, which initially made me wonder if I’d picked the right spot, but actually that turned out to be perfect. You’re close enough to get anywhere you want to go, but when you come back at the end of the day, it feels like retreating to a real neighborhood rather than just another hotel in hotel-land. I started recognizing the same dog walkers on my morning coffee runs, which sounds silly but made the whole stay feel more grounded somehow. The rating of 9 makes total sense – it’s not trying to be flashy or over-the-top, just really good at being what it is.

Everything was perfect and the host very friendly.

Was in Vilnius for a week long mountain bike event. For this purpose, the location and the facilities (kitchen, shower, washing machine) were perfect. This would not be my first choice, if the plan was to visit visit Vilnius city and center – I think you really need a car for that – the drive is about 20-40 min, depending on traffic. The other thing – just to make expectations clear – although the apartment is in a private house in a satellite town of Vilnius, there is no green garden – the yard really is a parking lot and not much more.

The apartment is very spacious; sitting area on the ground floor and kitchen/bathroom/2 bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen is very well equipped. Good beds, sheets and towels. Nice ceiling windows in both bedrooms. Warm floors.

The accommodation was clean and had all the basic amenities needed for a good stay. It was a good size as a base for 2 friends as it has 2 bedrooms (would also be a good base for a couple and one or two young ones), a good bathroom and a small table to dine at along with basic kitchen facilities (hob, microwave, fridge with a freezer compartment). Downstairs on entry is a sofa and TV though we did not use that room.
The window upstairs is a nice size to view the big church etc.
For those who walk and use public transport like ourselves, it is just about 10 minutes walk to Naujoji Vilnia local train station with peak time trains to Vilnius main train station, and to buses which are plenty regular.
We thought the accommodation was good value with all the above in mind.Filip from Poland (7/10)
