I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to Apartment by the Linden trees on Kalvarijų street, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The Snipiskes district isn’t exactly where most tourists end up, but you know what? That turned out to be exactly why I loved this place. It’s tucked away in this quiet residential area where actual Vilnius locals live, and those linden trees they named it after really do line the street – I mean, during late spring the whole block smells incredible when they’re blooming.

The apartment itself feels like staying at a friend’s place rather than some sterile hotel room. Everything’s thoughtfully set up (honestly, better organized than my own apartment), and you can tell someone actually cares about the details. The kitchen has everything you’d need if you want to grab groceries from the Maxima down the street, which I’d recommend doing – there’s something satisfying about making morning coffee while looking out at those tree-lined streets. What really struck me was how quiet it gets at night. I mean, you’re still in the city, but this part of Snipiskes feels almost suburban once the evening settles in. Perfect if you’re like me and can’t sleep through typical city noise.

Getting around from here is actually easier than you’d think – the bus connections are solid, and it’s maybe a fifteen-minute walk to reach the more touristy parts of Old Town when you feel like wandering. But honestly, some of my favorite moments were just in the neighborhood itself. There’s this little bakery about three blocks away where the woman behind the counter doesn’t speak much English but makes these incredible rye pastries, and I found myself walking there most mornings just because it felt… normal, I guess? Like I was living in Vilnius rather than just visiting it. The apartment gives you that kind of experience – it’s not trying to be fancy or impress anyone, it’s just a really comfortable, well-maintained place where you can actually settle in for a few days. If you’re the type of traveler who prefers discovering a city at your own pace rather than being in the thick of tourist crowds, this spot gets it completely right.

  Przemyślane wszystko dla wygody w trakcie pobytu – od ładowarek do telefonów do piany do kąpieli w ogromnej wygodnej wannie.Sól,cukier ,kapsułki do kawy,szczoteczki do zębów.
  Miejsce parkingowe wygodne .Duże brawa dla gospodarza .
  
  What could be improved: To tylko sugestia,żeby pobyt był jak w domu -można dokupić ostrzałkę do noży 😉 chyba że jej nie znaleźliśmy .

  The apartment was perfectly clean, everything in it was new and there were no tear marks. The apartment has great light and it is pleasant for the eye in general. There are so many home appliances so that you don’t need to bring anything with you on your trip. There is a private parking available. The owner communicated all the needed information a few days prior to arrival and there was no extra effort needed for anything. This is a perfect place for one or two people.
  
  What could be improved: There is nothing about the property not to like. Just a hint for other travelers that it is not in the city center which might not be convenient but I was specifically looking for properties in this area.

  It was very comfortable, the room had absolutely everything. The whole room is perfectly thought out for small details. I definitely recommend choosing this room when visiting Vilnius.

  Bilparkering inom inhägnat område. Nära till livsmedelsbutiker och busshållplats. Ca 20 min med buss till Vilnius gamla stad.
