Apartamentai “Vilnius” Overview
You know what caught me off guard about Apartamentai “Vilnius”? I was expecting just another standard apartment rental, but this place actually feels like someone’s thoughtfully designed home that they’re letting you borrow for a while. The 9.1 rating isn’t just inflated review happiness – there’s real substance behind those numbers.
Walking into these apartments, you immediately notice the attention to detail that most places skip over. The lighting is warm and actually functional (I mean, how many hotel rooms make you squint to read?), and there’s this lived-in quality that makes you relax instead of feeling like you’re in a sterile box. The kitchenettes aren’t just for show either – they’re properly equipped, which honestly saved me a fortune on dining out in Vilnius. The local grocery stores are close enough that you can grab fresh bread and those incredible Lithuanian cheeses without planning a whole expedition. The beds are surprisingly comfortable too, and I’m someone who usually tosses and turns the first night anywhere new.
What really sets this place apart is how it sits in the city. You’re not stuck in some tourist bubble, but you’re also not stranded in the middle of nowhere wondering how to get to the Old Town. The public transport connections are solid – actually, walking is often faster and way more interesting. You’ll discover those little courtyards and hidden cafes that guidebooks somehow always miss. The neighborhood has this authentic Vilnius energy where you hear Lithuanian being spoken more than English, which I loved. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle (welcome to European city centers), but the staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real advice, not just vague directions. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no endless paperwork or upselling attempts. The three-star rating might make you think it’s basic, but honestly, they’ve focused their energy on getting the important stuff right rather than flashy extras you’d never use. It gets a bit lively on weekend evenings since there’s actual local life happening around you, but that’s the trade-off for staying somewhere with genuine character instead of a sanitized hotel district. If you want to experience Vilnius like someone who actually lives there rather than just passing through, this is exactly the kind of place that makes that happen.

Property was small but very clean and good for sole traveler
Martynas951 from Lithuania (10/10)
Communication with the host was great. She attended all our needs upon request, such as separate blankets for sleeping.
Monisia75 from Poland (10/10)
Everything was perfect. The host is very helpful and responsive. Self check in was very good for us as we arrived late at night. The apartment is very clean and well equipped. The beds are comfy. Parking place is a great asset. We liked the location a lot as it's quiet and the bus and trolley bus station is just across the street, which makes it very easy to go to the center. I don't understand people who, in their opinions on the apartment, complain that it's far from the city center, because it's all written in the description so it's not a problem to make a responsible decision while booking. There's a hipermarket in 2 minutes walking distance, and a mall 5 minutes away. We got more than we expected, and we are beyond happy with our stay.
