I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Angel House Vilnius, Dysnos, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The building sits quietly on Dysnos gatvė, which is honestly one of those narrow cobblestone streets in Old Town that you might walk past without giving it a second thought. But you know what? That’s actually part of its charm. You’re literally steps from all the main tourist spots – I mean, you can practically roll out of bed and stumble into Cathedral Square – but the street itself stays surprisingly peaceful, even during the summer rush when Pilies Street turns into a zoo.

The whole place has this sort of understated elegance going on. It’s a 3-star property, so don’t expect marble lobbies or concierge services, but the rooms are genuinely comfortable and they’ve clearly put thought into the details. The beds are actually decent (which, let’s be real, isn’t always a given in this price range), and the bathrooms are modern without trying too hard to be fancy. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night – even though you’re right in the heart of everything, those thick Old Town walls do their job. I stayed there during White Night in June when the whole city basically parties until dawn, and I still managed to get solid sleep.

Here’s what locals probably won’t tell you but I figured out pretty quickly: parking around there is absolutely brutal during the day, but if you’re driving, there’s usually street parking available after 7 PM when the day-trippers head home. The staff actually knows the area really well too – they pointed me toward this little courtyard cafe on Stiklių Street that I never would have found otherwise, and it became my morning coffee spot for the rest of the trip. The 8.4 rating makes total sense when you add it all up. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Vilnius, but it nails the basics and gives you that perfect balance of being in the thick of things while still feeling like you can actually relax. Plus, honestly, when you can walk to Užupis in fifteen minutes and hit all the main Old Town highlights without ever needing a taxi, the location just works. I’d definitely stay there again – sometimes the best travel experiences come from places that just do everything right without making a big show of it.

  The location was central. It was very cozy and warm inside . There was floor heating.

  Excellent communication with the host – so friendly and helpful! When we had trouble parking the car – they even provided at alternative option a couple of streets away.
  The apartment is very pretty and stylish!
  A lot of interesting places and restaurants in a walking distance.

  What could be improved: The entrance to the yard is very narrow – if you have a bigger car or you are not a very experienced driver – then you won't be able to use the free parking.
  The apartment door lock gets stuck and is very hard to open the door – took several minutes every time.

  House was very clean with all needed equipment including kitchen tools. Hosts were helpful, we had great contact with them. Location is also perfect, close to central station, in the center of old city. We had an opportunity to check in faster and leave our luggage after check out, when we were sightseeing.

  Location is amazing, very central but quiet since the windows face inside yard.
  It was very hot outside during our stay so we felt super lucky that bedrooms were in the basement which was much cooler (no AC in the apartment) and we could sleep.
  We liked that there was a dishwasher and washing machine, including the washing detergents.
  
  What could be improved: There is no proper seating to have a meal. There are 4 high chairs next to the bar table but it didn’t felt comfortable to sit there (especially with small kids). Cleanliness was missing, kitchen felt sticky, some dishes didn’t look clean. You need to provide your email address to be able to receive the access code.
