Amicus Hotel Overview

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Amicus Hotel – you know how three-star places can be hit or miss. But this one surprised me in the best way possible. The moment I walked through those doors, there was this warm, welcoming vibe that felt more like stepping into a friend’s well-kept home than another cookie-cutter hotel lobby.

What really struck me was how the staff actually seemed to care about getting things right. Check-in was smooth (no awkward standing around while they figured out their system), and the front desk person – I think her name was Maria – gave me these genuinely helpful local tips that you definitely won’t find in any guidebook. The rooms themselves are what I’d call thoughtfully simple. Nothing flashy, but everything works exactly as it should, and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. I mean, I’ve stayed in supposedly fancier places where I tossed and turned all night, so that matters more than thread count, if you ask me. The bathrooms are spotless and actually have decent water pressure – again, one of those things you don’t think about until it’s not there.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the little details that show someone’s paying attention. Fresh towels that don’t smell like industrial bleach, blackout curtains that actually block light for those of us who need proper darkness to sleep, and outlets positioned where you can actually use them without moving furniture around. The WiFi works reliably throughout the building (I tested it because, well, priorities), and there’s this cozy common area where you can grab coffee in the morning or just sit with a book if your room starts feeling too small. Parking was straightforward too – none of that circling-the-block nonsense or surprise fees that make you question your life choices. The neighborhood itself feels safe for evening walks, and you’re close enough to the main attractions without being right in the middle of all that tourist chaos. I noticed they keep things pretty quiet after 10 PM, which was perfect since I was there during a busy conference week and actually needed to sleep. Look, Amicus Hotel isn’t trying to be something it’s not, and that’s exactly why it works so well. It’s the kind of place where you get solid value, genuine service, and can actually relax without any unpleasant surprises showing up on your bill or in your room. Sometimes that’s worth way more than marble lobbies and fancy amenities you’ll never use anyway.

Exploring Vilnius offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Lithuania’s cultural heart, from its UNESCO-listed baroque old town to its vibrant contemporary arts scene and beautiful Baltic atmosphere.

We were staying here before the flight from Vilnius airpot and the location for that wss perfect. Staff was friendly, everything was clean and comfortable. Bar located on the ground floor was a nice addition 🙂

  • Zukauskaite from Spain (9/10)

It was second time coming to this hotel. Love the place where is situated, not in the centre so there is no noise to rest, but close enough to gey by taxi for 4 euros in 10 min to city center, near airport. Stuff both times was amazing and really helpful. On the check out date we needed to leave before kitchen opens and because we paid for breakfast they prepared it for us day before. Room was big and clean. When coming back, going to this hotel again, really worth for the price.

Room and beds were the best. Late night check-in was very easy and there was no problem at all. Location of the hotel is very good.

The bus stop is around 8 minutes walk and the connectivity to the airport and city is excellent. Lidl and Maxima supermarkets are also in the vicinity. Kettle was there in the room.
