Location-wise, you’re maybe a five-minute walk from Pilies Street with all its cafés and tourist shops, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds of tour groups right outside your window. I actually stumbled onto some fantastic local spots just by wandering the nearby cobblestone streets – there’s this tiny bakery tucked away on a side street that does incredible rye bread, and a little bar that locals seem to know about but tourists somehow miss. The 7.1 rating feels about right to me; it’s definitely solid and comfortable, with that view being the real standout feature, but it’s not going to blow you away with luxury touches or anything. What it does do well is give you an authentic feel for what it’s like to actually live in this part of Vilnius for a few days, rather than just passing through. If you’re the type who values character and location over having someone make your bed every morning, this place really works.
